That’s where you need to find ways to bring new blog post ideas so you can keep your blog active. I’m going to list some of the most effective and easiest ways to do just that. Here we go.

  1. Brain Mapping:

There is nothing better in this world that can help you bring out new ideas than brain mapping. Brain mapping is a very simple yet effective way to stay away from bloggers block. All you are going to have to do is take a piece of paper and a pen and just write down all the ideas that are popping up in your mind. Write them all down and later pick the ones that you think are the best. This always works for a majority of bloggers and hopefully it will work for you too.

  1. Bring Out Ideas Out of Every Article:

This is something that most people don’t seem to be concerned about, but to be honest; it can work like a charm. It is quite easy to generate loads of article titles just by expanding the one. I am going to give an example of this thing below.

For example we have an article named “Benefits of Facebook”. Now we will try to bring out as many titles as possible out of this one.

a)      Harms of Facebook

b)      Harms of Facebook for students

c)      Benefits of Facebook for students

d)     How Facebook can help people

e)      How can Facebook destroy your life

These are just a few examples. You can continue expanding and you’ll have unlimited amount of ideas in your hand. There will never be a time again when you don’t know what to write next if you regularly practice this.

  1. Watch Your Competitors:

It always necessary in every business to be aware of what your competitors are doing. How they are planning things and how they are coming out on top of problems. In case of blogging, just see what those blogs are posting and how they are managing to get people talk about them.

I am not trying to encourage you to copy anyone’s ideas or even think about. All I want you to do is use their work as an inspiration. Use those articles as ideas and try to twist them and talk about the things those blogs missed. This will give you double benefits. First, you will have big amount of article ideas and second, you will successfully attract a lot of people to your blog. Hence, you should never miss this activity.

  1. Listen To The Readers:

If you pay close attention to what your readers are saying, what they are feeling and what they want you to do, all of this process can become pretty simple. Every time you publish a post, ask your readers to tell you what you missed or what you should’ve added to that article. If they liked your article, it means you are going on the right track. But if they tell you what you missed, you get to know what they want and then you can work accordingly. This is a win-win situation. That is why I suggest you to never ever ignore comments you get on your blog posts.

     5. Join Forums

Forums are big source for not getting only backlinks and traffic but also for getting a lot of ideas over there. Peoples on forum ask many question. You can get ideas from these questions for your new blog post and you can guess easily that what people are finding related to your niche.

      6. Solve Your Own Problems:

Since, we are talking about understanding what readers want, one of the best strategies to give them exactly what they need is by solving your own problem. For example, if you are running a blog/website about mobile phones, think about the problems that you face when you are deciding which one to buy. Or how do you figure our which mobile phone is going to be good for you? If you just solve your own problems and get answers to the question that are in your head, you can be helping a big amount of people and you won’t be running out of article ideas.

Now what are you planning to do? Have you already used any of these tricks? If yes, how did they work out for you? If not, which one are you planning to try first? I’m anxiously waiting for your response.
